New Book by Canadian Author Aims to Abolish Stress from Everyday Life

TORONTO, ON (December 10, 2020) – Engineer turned author and teacher, Aziz Velji, has made it his life’s mission to help as many people as possible eliminate stress from their daily lives. His new, self-published book, Calm Brain, Powerful Mind, is designed to do just that. It empowers you with the knowledge, tools (like conscious breathing, mindfulness and meditation) and confidence needed to tap into the underlying power of your mind – one that is not burdened or influenced by stress – and positively transform your life.

Calm Brain, Powerful Mind is different from most other books on stress relief as it is not only about stress, but the science behind it, and the personal transformation to permanently overcome it. Stress is pervasive in our western society like never before. As life continues to move faster and become more complicated, our ability to adapt and thrive becomes increasingly more difficult. Velji’s own personal journey of self-discovery and resilience began after a difficult period in both his professional and personal life left him feeling empty and lost. Knowing that there had to be more to life than stress and struggle, he set out to understand why some people were resilient to the challenges they faced, while others continued to struggle with adversity. This quest for meaning drove him to seek out answers about the nature of the conscious and subconscious mind and how our thoughts affect our perception of reality. He discovered that when we understand how our mind works, we can learn to quiet the voice in the head and bring about a dimensional shift in the way we perceive the world to meet life’s challenges. Bridging stress, science and spirituality, Velji’s findings into the nature of stress and how to combat it were so life-changing that he felt the need to write and share his own experiences and insights with others, in they hope that they too may live calm, alert, creative and stress-free lives.
